Junior Transport Assistant

This is a varied role that requires a strong talented individual, who can multi-task, work under pressure with ease and maintain impeccable standards. This is an opportunity to develop your skills and become a valued member of our team.

**Duties will include:

- **
- to give administration support to the Manager Director
- to give administration support to the Transport Planners
- reception duties
- processing of accident reports and liaising with insurance company
- assist with accreditation audits
- driver's holidays / sickness / training
- customer credit checks
- provide general office administration, secretarial and office support
- Route planning of fleet vehicles to provide office/holiday cover

**Required**:

- Excellent IT skills - be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- excellent people skills / team player
- ability to work in a highly demanding and changeable environment
- forward thinking and able to anticipate needs of the Managing Director
- a robust character able to liaise with people at all levels with confidence
- strong organisational skills, time management and co-ordination
- flexible attitude to working hours
- be proactive with ability to work with minimum supervision

**Hours of work**:

- 7.00am-4.00pm - Monday to Thursday (or 8.00-5.00pm) with 1hr lunch break
- 12.00pm-9.00pm - 2/3 Fridays per month
- 1 Saturday per month

Hours may vary depending on office cover required 40 hours per week.

Previous experience of a similar role would be considered an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
