A fantastic opportunity now exists for a passionate **Receptionist **to be part of our Guest Relations team. Are you customer focused and consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach? We’re looking for a professional, friendly and efficient Receptionist, who will look after our guests, whilst achieving maximum revenue and guest satisfaction.

About You:

- To welcome all guests on their arrival and assist them in a courteous, helpful manner with registration and when checking out of the hotel.
- To assist guests throughout their stay in a friendly and professional manner, informing the Guest Relations Manager/ Duty Manager of any complaints.
- To be fully aware of the hotel cash handling and credit procedures and to report any discrepancies to your Supervisor/ Manager or in their absence the Guest Relations Manager/ Duty Manager immediately.
- To be constantly aware of the hotels availability in order to maximise all opportunities to sell rooms at the best possible rate.
- To monitor all guest accounts and to make sure all charges posted are correct with supporting documentation.
- To assist with luggage, providing information and booking services as required.
- To be fully aware of all functions and facilities within the hotel, e.g. opening/closing times of breakfast/dinner.
- To liaise closely with Housekeeping and Reservations/Sales Office, advising them of information such as departures, arrivals, stay-ons and any special requests.
- To ensure that once guests are checked out to ledger the accounts are checked against their correspondence to ensure accurate details are recorded.
- To deal with reservations, confirmation of bookings, allocation of rooms and special requests.
- To be knowledgeable of all hotel rates and terms of business.
- Knowledge of Guestline or PMS systems is essential.
- Positively approach sales opportunities in order to maximise sales revenue in order to meet and exceed budgeted sales targets for the department.
