The Role...

To carry out on-site activity as instructed by your Team Leader/Site Manager in line with the specific framework requirements that you operate in.
Responsibilities...
- To carry out site duties as instructed by team leader.
- To comply with Avove’s Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Policy Provisions and Work Together, Safe Together ethos
- To report any good calls, close calls and near misses on Avove’s H&S reporting system (e20)
- Report any unsafe acts or conditions when observed or bought to your attention
- Always wear the correct personal protective equipment
- To comply with any generic and task-specific risk assessments for each job
- Only carry out tasks, activities and operating plant and equipment that you are certified or competent to use
- Maintain a good relationship with all customers, behaving in a professional manner at all times.
- Always adhere to Streetworks regulations.
- Ensure all materials are used economically and that unused materials are returned to stores
- Work in a professional and proactive manner, always leaving your site in a clean and tidy manner
- To ensure that all tools, equipment and plant are maintained, kept in a usable condition and report any concerns to your team leader.
- Attend any briefings as directed
- Carry out any reasonable request as instructed by your People Manager

- NRSWA
- Signing, lighting & guarding
- Driving license - you will be required to travel within the area of the contract that you work within
- A responsible, proactive, and flexible attitude
- You will be able support your team to find solutions to problems
- You will be a team player and provide positive input
- You will deliver your work on time and to a high standard
- You are willing to develop and learn new skills and qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication
- Able to work in confined spaces within a Civils environment
- An understanding and commitment to health, safety, quality and environmental aspects
