We are looking for a highly motivated and capable Projects and Quality Officer to join the Academic Affairs Section in the College of Science and Engineering.

This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week). We are currently operating a hybrid working mode (on a non-contractual basis) that requires a minimum of 2 days on-campus office-based working, one of which is a specified core day. A degree of flexibility is expected from all staff in order to attend other on-campus meetings and events as required.

**The Opportunity**:
In this varied role the post-holder will work to support the activity of the College Deans and the Head/ Deputy Head of Academic Affairs, providing high-quality support for University and College projects and strategic developments including those related to learning and teaching, academic quality assurance, and student support. The post-holder will coordinate and ensure effective delivery of the University’s academic Quality Framework and Academic Misconduct procedures across the College.

As a motivated team-member, the post-holder will actively contribute to the management of work within the Academic Affairs Taught Team, and will provide mentoring and supervision for the College Teaching Organisation Support Team.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- Ability to interpret University regulations and policy, and to effectively communicate accurate advice and guidance.
- Experience of policy and procedure development, including conducting analysis of issues and data, presenting results and putting forward recommendations to support decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to present and communicate across a variety of platforms, promoting ideas and developments clearly and persuasively.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects and successfully deliver outputs in highly effective and timely manner.
