TheStrategic Programme for Primary Careis an All-Wales Health Board-led programme that works in collaboration with Welsh Government and responds to A Healthier Wales.

The Programme aims to bring together and develop all previous primary care strategies and reviews at an accelerated pace and scale, whilst addressing emerging priorities highlighted withinA Healthier Wales.

The Programme is supported by a Programme Management Office which aims to be a central hub of expertise to maximise the pace, scale and successful delivery of the programme of work.

Under the direction of the Project Manager the post holder will play a central role in the delivery of the work for the Strategic Programme for Primary Care. The post holder will also be required to directly support the work of the National Director and Strategic Programme Lead providing project management support and coordination to enable the delivery of the key aims and objectives of the SPPC.

This is a fixed term for 12 months to meet the needs of the service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

To produce and monitor programme plans and organise a broad range of activities.

To assist with the production of project documentation such as Project Initiation Documents

(PIDs) for each project. (PIDs detail objectives, outcomes, project structure, resource requirements, and project stages etc.)

To support, and advise relevant user groups and co-ordinate their overall input into projects.

In co-operation with members of various project teams, assist with the technical and functional evaluation of project outcomes in relation to projects within the programme.

Assist the Senior Project Manager and Programme Manager in creating project plans to meet change.

Track and report progress. Undertaking data analysis within the programme, reviewing and

communicating data issues and accurately interpreting information to inform all aspects of work. Any additional duties that may be defined by the Senior Project Manager
