The role of Programme Lead is to provide robust and inspiring strategic leadership, the post holder will be required to ensure the projects within the programme are aligned to national and local cancer priorities and that the plans to deliver these projects are realistic and achievable. The post holder will be responsible for the successful delivery of the projects within their programme, ensuring they are on budget and on time.

The Humber and North Yorkshire Cancer Alliance is looking for an experienced and skilled Project Manager to take on the role of Programme Lead. Were looking for an authentic leader with a proven track record of successful programme delivery to take on the Treatment, Pathways and Living with and Beyond Cancer Programme. This programme focusses on the embedding of the national Best Practice Timed Pathways within local suspected cancer referral pathways, achieving the nationally set cancer waiting times standards for our patients, and supporting them with personalised care, empowering patients to manage their own post diagnosis care working collaboratively with their clinicians.
