Recroot are looking for a Housing Systems Officer to join our client based with Central Bedfordshire Council.

Starting at the beginning of September working in a hybrid, part time role (22.5 hours a week)

Housing Systems Operations team are responsible for delivering core business functions to a multi-million-pound Housing Service, through the provision of high quality system management and support, ensuring customers’ outcomes are at the centre of what is delivered at all times. The team play a key role in improving business performance.

**Qualifications Required**:
Must possess a degree/BTEC/Higher National Certificate or equivalent in business studies/public administration and have relevant admin experience, or have considerable directly relevant experience and be working towards a degree/HNC or equivalent

**The role**:

- Responsible for the processing and monitoring of rent via direct debits, management of repairs invoices, progressing the Right to Buy scheme, progressing Emergency LWP assistance and resolving a range of Housing System issues to ensure the smooth operation
- Basic knowledge of Housing Legislation & welfare benefits is desirable.
- First point of contact for our customers.
- Manage and support the various housing business systems - supporting teams operations.
- Responsible for developing and implementing new financial support services to include new income streams, driving forward innovation.

Responsible for managing the setting, collection & comms of multi-million p.p.a. in rent debits

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

**Salary**: £12.95 per hour
