**Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification**:
**Main Duties**:

- Liaise with the Aftersales team to ensure vehicles are prepared according to the Approved Used Standards
- Make the necessary re-conditioning arrangements for the used cars, including smart repairs, or vehicle repair via the Body centre where necessary.
- Co-ordinate the cleaning and display of vehicles, including price hangers and number plate covers, with a minimum of half a tank of fuel.
- Ensure the Showroom is presentable at all times and adequately stocked with cars that are represented in the appropriate way
- Allocate work to the valeting team in the most appropriate manner, taking into account priorities dictated by the business
- Check all cars leaving the valeting area to ensure the quality of cleanliness is of the required standard and that they contain the valeting hanger.
- Supervise the daily activities of the valeting staff, carrying out day to day discipline as required to maintain the high standards of work, quality and output expected
- Become involved in Dealership Promotional activities as required and ensure that all necessary preparations are made for the smooth running of such events, i.e. cars, flags, banners, etc.
- Ensure that company cars are washed on a regular basis so that the company is always represented in the appropriate manner.
- Become familiar with the procedures relating to vehicle sales in the event of a requirement to deliver or hand over a car to a customer.

**Relevant Experience & Qualifications Required**:
Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
