- To collect and deliver components/consumables to customers and sub-contractors, with awareness of Health & Safety / Environmental / Quality aspects required within the company._
**_Supporting duties:_**
- Carry out all masking requirements including wax tape/lacquer/bungs and other media required.
- Jig components
- Vac blast work prior to the processing operation
- Passivate work prior to the processing operation
- Degrease and clean components
- Load and unload ovens
- Pre-penetrant etch components
- Part mark components
- Pack and wrap components in line with quality requirements
- Docket incoming parts and consumables
- Carry out stock checks on paint and consumables
- Achieve the production plan, ensuring that all the customers’ product is within specification required.
- Understanding and care of handling all parts
- Ensure acceptable quality levels are achieved
- Understanding principles of work preparation practices
- Ensure all documentation relevant to the processing is followed and completed correctly
- _Ensure all rework is documented to procedure_
**_Statutory Duties_**
- Work in a safe manner in compliance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures alongside statutory requirements. Reporting any unsafe working practises / activities is essential.
- Work in a manner that will maintain compliance to compliance to the Environmental policies and procedures alongside statutory requirements. Reporting any potential environmental issues is essential.
**_Business Duties_**
- Continually review working practices to remove and reduce waste and non-value adding activities. Actively support and contribute to the continuous improvement programme.
- Participate in training activity within the company.
- Work with a minimum amount of supervision, supporting and maintaining good level of productivity in business.
- Positively support teamwork and circulation of experience within the workforce (through mentoring, knowledge sharing and development of standard operating procedures).
- Maintain good housekeeping in the work place and maintaining shadow boards / equipment provided.
