We are looking for a Data Quality Assistant to join our busy workforce information team.

As the Data Quality Assistant, you will assist in the maintenance of post hierarchy and post establishment in Electronic Staff Record. You will also assist with ESR data input and transfer of posts into ESR.

Full training provided
1. To assist with the preparation and ongoing maintenance of the Trust hierarchy and post establishment on ESR.
2. To analyse the Finance establishments across all Directorates monthly to determine the correct establishment and to implement this within the Electronic Staff Record.
3. To assist with the creation of a new 1:1 post structure and assist with the initial and ongoing transfer of staff into the new posts.
4. To assist with ESR data input and data quality projects where required.
5. To liaise across the Trust to ensure the correct establishment is aligned to correct post. To address any anomalies with the HR Lead and appropriate Finance contact.
6. To identify all unfunded posts and ensure they are appropriately identified. To communicate this list to all divisional teams, updating and amending where appropriate.
7. To liaise with Corporate Finance team and divisional Finance teams regarding complex data queries, both during set up and when going live with new processes.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To assist with the preparation and ongoing maintenance of the Trust hierarchy and post establishment on ESR.

2. To analyse the Finance establishments across all Directorates on a monthly basis to determine the correct establishment and to implement this within the Electronic Staff Record.

3. To assist with the creation of a new 1:1 post structure and assist with the initial and ongoing transfer of staff into the new posts.

4. To assist with ESR data input and data quality projects where required.

5. To liaise across the Trust to ensure the correct establishment is aligned to correct post. To address any anomalies with the HR Lead and appropriate Finance contact.

8. To liaise with; and assist with any workforce information and data queries from line managers or divisional HR teams.

9. To maintain the data quality on the ESR system under the guidance of the Workforce Information Manager

10. To ensure accurate recording and maintenance of establishment data on ESR.

11. To conduct regular audits of the Trust ESR data and analyse, report and amend anomalies.

12. Where required to prepare workforce information reports. Some reports are standard and others are ad-hoc and may need designing.

13. To initiate discussions, and seek agreement from, finance and departmental managers to ensure accurate establishments.

14. To provide Trust managers with accurate reports as required.

15. To assist the team on data quality improvements.

16. To assist with workforce information requests and mandatory data submissions to the Department of Health.

17. To provide support to the Workforce Planning & Information Team with projects and work streams.

19. To review and propose changes to the existing establishment control and recruitment authorisation procedures in operation throughout the Trust.
