**Management Accountant | West Kent/Hybrid | £40k - £50k DOE**
A fast paced; highly acquisitive private equity backed business based in West Kent has a vacancy for a management accountant to join their growing finance team. They are looking for a strong management accountant, ideally qualified but may consider Part-Qualified.This is a permanent opportunity and the organisation currently work on a hybrid basis of 3 days office based and 2 days from home.
You will be responsible for the consolidated management accounting requirements for the group, including reporting for internal departments, the Executive and Investor Boards and other third-party Stakeholders.
The role will also be responsible for:

- Responsibility for the Profit Centre management accounts with assistance from the Assistant Management Accountant, to include prepayments, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monthly departmental cost reviews with relevant departments to include Finance, HR, Marketing, IT.
- In conjunction with the Management Accounting team develop and maintain a single reporting format to meet the needs of all parts of the Finance team.
- Consolidation of monthly group results for management reporting.
- Preparation of monthly Finance reporting to the executive board and investors.
- Preparation of budgets for central group functions and monitoring of performance against these.
- Work closely with the Financial Accountant to coordinate the audit in relation to the central group costs.
- Work closely with the Financial Accountant and Treasury team in relation to cash management and forecasting across the business.
- Ownership of the group intercompany processes and balances including Intercompany invoicing and recharges.

You will need
- Recent experience in management accounting
- Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA (Part-Qualified may be considered)
- Able to demonstrate experience of working to tight deadlines in a busy working environment
- Possess a good understanding of Excel (pivot tables/vlookups)
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- A team player with a flexible approach and a willingness to learn
- A self-starter who is pro-active and can set and achieve goals
