Activities Co-ordinator

To provide clients with entertainments and activities that take into account individual preferences. To assist clients and their families to socialise within the home and help them to build an acceptable relationship with each other. To help create an atmosphere that suites individual clients within the home. To provide comfort and company, on a one to one basis, for clients who are unable to undertake any form of activity

1. Help clients to socialise within the home, and provide a variety of activities that cater for all tastes.

2. Plan and initiate monthly rolling programmes, and encourage clients to maintain pre-existing hobbies, arranging Outing for residents.

3. Encourage staff members, relatives and friends to participate in the homes activities

4. Assist with budgeting for entertainments, materials and outings

5. Maintain full and accurate records of daily activities using appropriate documentation, and assist the named nurse and Senior Carer's to update client care plans accordingly.

6. Report any changes in a clients physical or emotional condition to the Nurse in charge/ Senior Carer.

7. Participate in staff meetings

8. Arrange client meetings as appropriate

9. Liaise with Occupational Therapist on a regular basis

All PPE is provided. Lateral Flow Testing PCR testing is done on daily & weekly basis

**Experience**:

- activities in care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
