**Architectural Technologist or Architectural Assistant**

Our architectural team, based in Haddington, East Lothian, is continuing to grow and we are looking for an additional Architectural Technologist or Architectural Assistant to assist with the increasing workload.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects including, domestic, agricultural and commercial developments and works to existing traditional buildings.
- An interest in the rural environment
- A sound understanding of construction detailing and specification
- An understanding of traditional building methods and how these impact on technical detailing
- A good working knowledge of current Scottish Building Standards Regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)
- A working knowledge of SketchUp (desirable)
- A positive and proactive attitude, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment
- Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills
- A creative approach to design and problem solving
- The ability to work independently with efficiency and accuracy
- A methodical and consistent approach to architectural administration
- Some experience particularly in private domestic work
- Access to a car and a full UK driving licence

You will mainly be working from our Haddington Office, although there will be the opportunity to work from home from time to time.

**Terms and Conditions**:
Start Date: By agreement

Hours of Work: Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Holidays: 30 days per year

**Salary**: This will be commensurate with experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
