**Location**: Hybrid, must be within reasonable commuting distance of the Basingstoke Office
where you will be based and work 2 days per week and work from home the reminder of the
time.

Black Mountain is a global organisation servicing clients in over 165 countries, but this role is
entirely UK-based working from our Basingstoke office.
We are seeking a Senior payroll controller to join our busy payroll team on a permanent basis
working hybrid remote.

**Responsibilities and Duties include**:

- Responsible for managing own portfolio of clients.
- Assist the payroll team and ensure payroll deadlines are met.
- Dealing with complex payroll and pension queries.
- Attend client meetings as and when required.
- Ensure completion of tax year end procedures and P11Ds.
- Manual calculations.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency of payroll processing by the team

**Person Specification/ Experience**:

- CIPP Qualification preferred
- Experience processing monthly and weekly client payroll from start to finish.
- Experience with IRIS (Star) would be beneficial although not essential
- Experience in a bureau desirable but not essential
- A team player equipped for working within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) enabling effective rapport with

customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team
- High attention to detail and ability to consistently produce and oversee accurate work

PAYROLL CONTROLLER
Location - Basingstoke
Salary - £28 - £30,000 per annum
Duration - Permanent, Full Time
Hours - 37.5 Hours per week Monday - Friday (9:00 - 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch)

**Responsibilities and Duties include**:

- Responsible for managing own portfolio of clients.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of payrolls.
- Completion of tax year end and P11Ds.
- Manual calculations.

**Person Specification/ Experience**:

- Experience processing monthly and weekly client payroll from start to finish.
- Experience with IRIS (Star) would be beneficial although not essential
- A team player equipped for working within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) enabling effective rapport with
