Title: Despatch Controller

Package: £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus

Location: Basingstoke

Work Patterns: Monday
- Friday (On Site)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure all loads and orders are safely delivered to the desired location, with effective communication with all parties involved.
- Liaising with couriers and hauliers ensuring appropriate vehicle type is chosen and ensuring drivers arrive on time to pick up loads.
- Implement and review KPIs with senior management, offering a voice in improvements needed.
- Help maintain customer relations and liaise with other internal departments within the warehouse making sure procedures are followed.

Experience required
- Track record of working in Despatch and Warehouse distribution, ideally for a retail/FMCG company.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail to resolve any issues before they surface.
- Good understanding of ePOD systems and other Transport software's.
- Experience in working in Transport and having a good understanding of driver and warehouse procedures.
