**Senior National Account Manager**

**Location: Hybrid (Working from Home, Client head offices and occasional Company office)**

**Salary: £80-100,000 + car + market leading bonus + benefits**

Develop sales strategies and programs that will drive consumer engagement, influence buyer behaviour and stimulate demand across all platforms. Partnering with field sales team and internal cross-functional teams to develop and deliver integrated businessplans based on strong customer insights to drive the companies ambitious growth agenda.

**The role**:

- Develops account management plan to generate business results with customer: Integrates knowledge of business and brand objectives, customer strategies and consumer insights to develop customer-specific sales strategies and business-building programs. Translatesstrategies and marketing plans into actionable promotional strategies and integrates customer-specific marketing plans into overall sales strategy. Builds and executes fully comprehensive strategies to drive conversion. Leads execution of volume, net sales,distribution and profit objectives for assigned Categories
- Leads execution of all sales plans and related responsibilities with excellence: Manages the budgeting, planning and development of sales plans at retailer from creation to execution.
- Works cross-functionally and influences internal stakeholders: Serves as the voice of the customer to influence business strategy and plans. Builds strong relationships with internal cross-functional teams and leverages sales and retail tools, processes,resources to secure resourcing and support for Client initiatives.
- Drive budget efficiency and ROI: Works within assigned budget to ensure effective and efficient spends. Leads strategies/plans based on pre/post event analysis and has full ownership/responsibility for budgets, expected to manage appropriately.
- Engage Customer’s, develop individual accounts to promote growth.
- Coaches, develops, motivates team members as appropriate.

**The person**:

- Degree educated, or equivalent
- Previous successful FMCG National Account Management experience collaborating with large retailers or
- Customer Business Planning-process and tools
- Excellent negotiator with exceptional analytical and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills, ability to influence, direct strategies and build relationships
- Leadership and influencing skills with corporate Clients
- Experience working in a consumer-packaged goods (CPG), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and/or consumer durables industry strongly preferred
- Selling experience within consumer products, preferably across multiple brands
- History of setting and delivering a growth agenda
- Experience developing and managing budgets
- Experience negotiating complex business deals that provide value to all parties
- Experience managing and/or influencing others
- Ability to operate independently given direction, and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised
- Ability to analyse and assess organisational needs and provide solutions accordingly
- Interpersonal savvy: an ability to effectively work with and connect with all levels of employees across multiple functions and geographies
- Ability to motivate teams to produce desired tangible outcomes within tight timeframes
- Strong project planning, tracking and organising skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to present data in an organised manner
