**Job description**: Sewell Wallis is currently working with a well-established accountancy practice based in Harrogate. They are looking to add an experienced, part-time accounts assistant to their tight knit team. The team is sociable, friendly and want to find someone similar to join them

The role will report into the Bookkeeping Manager.

Duties will include:

- Dealing with HMRC for clients
- VAT returns
- Reconciliation and submission of VAST returns
- Processing invoices
- Be a point of contact for any incoming queries
- Processing payment runs
- AD hoc duties as and when required

You will:

- Be a team player
- Be friendly and sociable
- Be confident to pick up the phone to clients
- Have previous experience in a Practice environment (Desirable)
- Xero experience (Desirable)
