An exciting opportunity has arisen for a **Factory Operative **to join the Colorlites team
- **The job in a nutshell**:_
- Assist in producing high quality products on time and in-full.
- Producing products by following job specifications, setting up, operating, adjusting, and maintaining the Machinery to ensure that it functions properly.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- Work in a safe manner, reporting any issues to the appropriate person as required
- Responsible for efficiently meeting all production work requirements allocated to you by following operating procedures and works instructions
- Complete accurately and store HACCP paperwork as required and within appropriate time scales
- Strive to ensure our products meet the required quality standards
- Work as a member of a team helping to implement and carry out all company working practices and achieve team objectives
- Identify and suggest ideas for factory floor improvements
- Ensure machines are set to the correct specification guaranteeing print/spray quality
- To assess the efficiency of the machines within your department raising any maintenance issues via the Maintenance Process
- Complete start-up checks for your machine, supported by the relevant paperwork
- Safely operate machines, adhering to a safe system of working for that machine
- Complete daily safety checks of machines in your area
- Follow ingredients deck to ensure colour and thickness of paints & inks
- Complete all required paperwork in full
- Ensure all components are present prior to starting a job
- **What you need to be successful**:_
- This is a hands-on role with most of the time being spent in the production areas and carrying out production tasks.
- Good knowledge quality analytical/problem solving tools & techniques gained through practical experience.
- The ability & willingness to be able to multitask & take work instructions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
