Resolve Recruitment are delighted to be working with a dynamic and forward-thinking insurer who have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Head of Personal Injury to join their fast-paced claims division.

This is a hybrid role.

The Head of Personal Injury Claims is a pivotal leadership role within our clients UK motor claims department. They are seeking a dynamic individual with excellent leadership skills, to collaborate with stakeholders to drive innovative claims initiatives and to demonstrate Technical proficiency in MOJ, OIC, and low-value out of jurisdiction claims.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of 50 staff who handle injury claims up to £100,000. The portfolio you will manage is valued at £150 million.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced leader who is looking to make a significant impact in the personal injury claims sector.

Role: Head of Personal Injury
Location: Hybrid with office days in Liverpool
Working hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm

**Salary**: Up to £80k plus extensive benefits

What you will be doing:

- Manage all personal injury claims operations for claims upto £100,000.
- Drive a team to assess indemnity, liability, and claims quantum.
- Oversee fast and multitrack losses within and outside of OIC/MOJ portals, out of jurisdiction, and MIB matters.
- Ensure the mitigation of third-party indemnity spend.
- Work with MI and analytics experts to optimize performance vs the market on personal injury claims up to £100,000.
- Collaborate with litigation partners and stakeholders to identify new strategies and initiatives.
- Implement a data-driven approach to measure and quantify progress and performance.
- Foster a culture of challenging the status quo and generating innovative ideas.

What we’re looking for:

- Proven track record in managing personal injury or third-party claims operation.
- Strong technical claims background demonstrable skills in around indemnity, liability, claims quantum, fast and multitrack losses.
- Cost control and strategy development expertise, particularly in personal injury claims.
- Ability to work with MI and analytics experts to drive performance improvements. Data driven decisionmaker.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team of approximately 50 employees. Experience of shaping an innovative culture in a team.
- Proficient in performance monitoring, reporting, and implementing enhancements.
- Excellent communication skills to deliver information outwardly to team and report up to stakeholders/shareholders as required.
- Cost control, strategy, and innovation are important aspects of this role, as personal injury claims up to £100,000 account for approximately 50% of overall spend.
