Business Development Manager

EAC Consulting Group are representing a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager for a Global industrial and mechatronics provider.
In return for extensive sales and engineering experience the company provides a very competitive base up to £55,000, with the potential of £20,000 commission on top, car, laptop, 25 days + Bank Holidays for annual leave, increased pension and Health & LifeInsurance.

**Duties**
- Achieving market leadership.
- Build and maintain close relationships with key accounts to develop sales.
- Agree and monitor the Sales Team activities within the business sector alongside measuring
performance against revenue targets set.
- Work alongside Sales Engineers to identify and develop potential markets/Customers.
- Working with the Divisional Director to set and monitor the annual Revenue and Sales budgets for
the team alongside the preparation and implementation of a 5-year growth plan.
alongside raising awareness of developments, practise and strategies within the market.
- Analysis and benchmarking of successes as well as analysing lost orders and projects.
- Maintain close contact with the Divisional Business Head providing updates on the UK
market/forecasts and keep abreast of new product and/or strategy developments alongside
international project coordination.
**The ideal Business Development Manager**
- Minimum requirement of HNC in an Engineering discipline or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years external Sales experience.
- Previous experience of selling direct into the Solar/ (PV) Photovoltaic market.
- Experience of selling solutions to the End User and OEM sectors ideally from an 'added value’
approach by identifying problems and offering either standard or specifically designed solutions.
- Ability to undertake Account Management and develop new Customers.
