**Job Overview**

**Main Duties**
- Responsible for a wide variety of services and tasks across site with significant BAE Systems customer
- Ensuring that in specified / dedicated buildings, BAE Systems colleagues receive first-class service.
- Attend to emergency / urgent works when contacted and informed by the Customer Contact Centre (Help Desk).
- Report on the overall activities on daily basis to the Soft Services
- Report and log with the Customer Contact Centre team any out of line event, any safety concern, any system or breakdown which can not be resolved (e.g. lights not working, windows broken, trip or slip hazards, heating system not working, leaking taps )
- Methodically follow up assigned work orders, update and close upon completion of job and provide detailed feedback to the Customer Contact
- Ensure that the Client or end user endorses, by way of signature on the work order form, approval of the job
- Coordinate with other teams to ensure the satisfactory completion of all work requests and tasks of multi-trades.
- Source, develop and maintain relationship with retrospective BAE customers and
- Provide first fix maintenance, tasks including for example:

- Repairing any damage to walls and filling in small cracks / holes
- Repairing damage to wallpaper
- Carrying out any ad-hoc maintenance request
- Fixing washroom door locks, toilet seats and dispensers
- Repair and replace flooring
- Replace light bulbs (standard)
- Provide assistance to third parties as and when
- Carry out Go Look See's and Process Confirmations as requested and / or
- Ensure all surrounding areas of the buildings are kept free from litter and debris
- Liaise on a daily basis with designated BAE Systems building customer to ensure overall satisfaction of the MITIE service delivery. Dealing efficiently and effectively with any matters / concerns raised during this process and ensuring satisfactory outcomes upon completion
- Assist in any office moves, conference room set up, furniture placement
- Sub-contractor control. Point of contact for escorting of subcontractors carrying out for works for Soft Services function in the specified buildings
- Assist in goods delivery for buildings

**What we are looking for**
- Good written and verbal skills
- A reasonable level of computer literacy and ability to use PDA's
- Competent in low level maintenance tasks
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of working in a Total Facilities Management (TFM) environment an advantage
- Smart and presentable
- Good character, lively and outgoing
- High energy work rate and desire to succeed
- Great customer service skills
- Good listening skills
- Ability to work using own initiative
- No specific formal qualifications required
