Applied Business Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated **Disability Inclusion and Welfare Coordinator** to join our team in the education industry. As the **Disability Inclusion and Welfare Coordinator,** you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our educational institution is equipped to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategies, policies, and practices that foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment. You will collaborate with students, parents, educators, and external stakeholders to advocate for the rights and well-being of students with disabilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement inclusive education policies and practices in accordance with local and national regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to identify and address the unique learning needs of students with disabilities.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, ensuring their academic and social-emotional success.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development to educators and staff to enhance their understanding of disability inclusion and support strategies.
- Advocate for students with disabilities and ensure their access to appropriate accommodations, assistive technologies, and support services.
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to establish effective communication channels and address their concerns or feedback regarding disability inclusion.
- Liaise with external organizations, such as disability support agencies and community resources, to provide comprehensive support to students and their families.
- Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and legal requirements related to disability inclusion in education.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working in the education industry, particularly in a role related to disability inclusion and welfare.
- In-depth knowledge of local and national regulations pertaining to disability rights and inclusive education.
- Familiarity with various disabilities, their impact on learning, and evidence-based support strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, educators, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and deliver training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of educators and staff.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Passion for promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity in the education system.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of emerging trends in disability inclusion.

**Salary**: £24,632.32-£30,000.00 per year
