Projects Assistant

TaskSpace are a UK leader in creating outstanding interior environments. We are a fast growing team who primarily work with education clients creating and delivering inspiring interior schemes including new buildings, refurbishments and furniture throughout the UK.
**Job Overview**
Working in conjunction with the Furniture Manager and Projects Team you will be responsible for the furniture administration element of projects from client brief to handover. This would include specifying and costing products, sourcing and purchasing, along with installation management and scheduling. Your responsibility would include communication with suppliers, clients and contractors, as well as project cost management.
**What will I do?** - as a general overview, you role will include (but is not limited to):
Project Planning
- Liaise with Project Leaders during the planning and brief. Ensuring deadlines are understood and all information can be delivered on time and accurately.
- Management of multiple projects against internal and external stakeholders timelines
- Provide regular status updates to Projects Team
Project Processing
- Specify, cost and purchase products in conjunction with our designs
- Develop and maintain excellent supplier and client relationships
- Provide clear and concise communication
- Project finance including tracking costings, invoicing and managing variations
Project Delivery
- Scheduling installation teams and deliveries
- Oversight of installation including visiting site as necessary
- After installation care
**Where can I work?** - Leighton Buzzard - You will be based in our state-of-the-art Design Centre which boasts free on-site parking, a canteen and breakout spaces. There may be the occasional requirement to visit project sites. Home working by arrangement/prior agreement on completion of Probation.
**When can I work?** - Working hours are 8am - 5pm with 1hr unpaid break. Monday to Friday.
