The role of Service Support and Operations Officer is a front-facing administrative role within the University of Sheffield’s Student Mental Health, Counselling & Therapies Service.

This post is designed primarily to support our clinical professional staff and will require an element of resilience and diligence to deliver an effective and efficient support service.

**The role includes**:

- Delivery and oversight of a highly responsive and customer-focused admin and reception service
- Take ownership of a range of core administrative functions performed on a daily basis to support the service and the needs of new and existing clients.
- Support members of the administrative team with workload priorities, including the allocation and delegation of tasks, to ensure that work is completed in line with departmental needs.
- Supervision of staff, including contributing to the monitoring and reviewing of individual and team progress and performance.
- Act as a key point of contact for the service, including deputising for the Office Team Leader where required.
