Laquna Accountants are recruiting for a Practice Payroll Administrator to join our small friendly firm of accountants based near Haywards Heath. Due to ongoing growth within the company, we are looking for someone to take control of several payroll and bookkeeping clients.

You will be responsible for a portfolio of payroll clients, with some bookkeeping work. This is predominately a payroll position so experience in a similar role is essential.

**Bookkeeping Duties**
- Processing clients’ payroll
- Completing CIS returns
- VAT preparation and returns.
- Bookkeeping through to trial balance stage
- Reconciling sales invoices, receipts and payments
- Liaising with clients on payroll queries.

**Practice Bookkeeper Requirements**
- 2 years Payroll experience within an Accountancy Practice is essential
- Confident using Xero essential and Quickbooks desirable
- Experience of Xero and Nomisma payroll software desirable
- AAT Bookkeeping qualifications or qualified by experience
- You must be within a commutable distance of Horsted Keynes.

**Remuneration**
- Salary £24,000 - £27,500 FTE
- Office hours Monday to Friday 9:00am - 17:30pm
- Full time, Part time, school hours employed permanent position
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Parking on site
- Company pension
- Hybrid Working minimum of 1 day per week in the office
