- The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role._

**Location**: Monkwray Court, Whitehaven

**Available Hours**: As and when required for cover.

We have opportunities for caring and compassionate people to join our caring, compassionate and supportive team at Monkwray Court, as a Relief Support Worker, providing support and care within our Extra Care Housing Services.

**About Extra Care Housing**

Support older adults to live independently the way they choose. Extra Care Housing provides support to people living within an assisted living community everyone has their own home environment such as a flat bungalow or within a retirement village.

**About the role**

As a Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.

No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development - we are looking for the right people, with the right qualities. **DBS**

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check.
