We are currently searching for dedicated Support Workers to join our team at a supported living service nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Cumbria. As a Support Worker, you'll play a crucial role in delivering personalized care and assistance, empowering individuals to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

What sets this opportunity apart is our distinctive shift pattern: typically, you'll work from 08:00 to 22:00, with two sleep-ins per week.

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing hands-on assistance and emotional support in daily activities like personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Fostering independence and facilitating access to community resources and events.
- Cultivating meaningful connections with service users, families, and other stakeholders.
- Implementing tailored care plans and support strategies aligned with individual needs and preferences.
- Monitoring progress, addressing concerns, and documenting incidents in accordance with organizational guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience working with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism is highly valued.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to caregiving.
- Flexibility to accommodate various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- While beneficial, formal qualifications such as NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care are not mandatory.
