**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software meets quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to understand software requirements and design effective testing strategies.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to identify and report software defects and anomalies.
- Document and track defects, working with developers to ensure timely resolution and retesting.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to ensure testability and quality of software deliverables.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, adopting and implementing industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software is user-friendly, reliable, and meets customer expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in software testing techniques and tools.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques, as well as experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or JUnit.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, isolate, and document software defects.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate defects and issues to stakeholders.
- Experience with bug tracking systems and test management tools.
- ISTQB certification or similar software testing certifications are a plus.
