Software Tester / QA Tester

Oodle Finance is a top-tier FinTech in UK Motor Finance, leading in innovation, technology, automation, and delivering a customer centric product. We are looking for a QA Tester to join our team working on various projects, including implementing new features on our FE, regression testing migrations and building out our automated suite of tests.

Although any experience within a financial environment is desirable, we place a strong emphasis on strong general testing skills and the ability to be proactive for this role. We have offices in Oxford, Manchester and London.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Testing new and existing features across our online journeys.
- Working with developers to understand issues.
- Being a general testing and QA advocate in the business.
- Working with internal stakeholders to ensure Jira tickets are written with QA in mind (clear specifications, acceptance criteria, etc.)

**What we're looking for**:

- Experience in software testing in a commercial environment.
- Demonstrable understanding of QA principles and approaches.
- Commitment to quality and ownership of problems.
- Comfortable interacting with internal customers, including senior stakeholders.
- Ability to negotiate and influence others.

**Desirable but not essential**:

- Salesforce testing experience
- Experience within the financial sector
- Automated testing experience using Virtuoso
- Jira and Agile experience
