Job Title: Traincrew Resource Planner

Location: Preston

Hours: various

Avanti West Coast are currently looking for a Traincrew Resource Planner within our People Planning team.

The post is a vital player within Avanti West Coast and key responsibilities of the role include:

- Produce effective and efficient rosters, to timescale, so that staffing levels meet business needs and are in accordance with all applicable safety standards, legislation and company standards, policies and procedures.
- Ensure that communication with our frontline staff and depot teams is in a clear, professional and polite manner.
- Maintain a strong close working relationship with the Customer Service teams, Planning team & Resource Operations team.
- Develop and adopt suitable measures to continuously improve the Customer Experience, performance and reduce costs and support the other areas of the business in initiatives to do likewise.
- Ensure that all relevant information regarding the resourcing of West Coast services is consistently recorded in the daily log in accordance with company policies.
- Liaise effectively and appropriately with managers at all levels, diagramming team and staff at Crewe Training Centre.

What type of experience are we looking for?
- Rostering packages (Crewplan & Genius)
- Experience in Resourcing frontline rail staff
- Broad knowledge of Frontline terms & conditions, railway systems & geography
