The post holder will be responsible for supervising the Theatre stores team, including the Materials management team (Mat Man) that provide wards and departments a continuous supply of goods in line with the Trusts materials control systems. This role will include assisting in coordinatingthe bi-annual stock takes of owned stock held across each financial year. The post holder will be required to undertake Ward inventory duties in times where cover in the team is required as well as be responsible for the supervisory role supporting the Supply Chain and Logistic Manager. This support will also include staff management tasks such as appraisals, managing leave and sickness as necessary, and may also assist in disciplinary processes, where required.
