An exciting opportunity has arisen to join their senior leadership team and lead their Future Options services, focusing on supporting people with a Learning Disability and or mental health needs to live in a place that they call home, with the people andthings that they love, doing things that matter to them.

The Future Options service encompasses the Community Adult Learning Disability Team, Mental Health Social Work Team, Approved Mental Health Professional Team (including our Out of Hours Service) and the Deprivation of Liberty Protection Safeguarding (Dols)service. In addition to these services a range of Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered direct care services who support people with a learning disability to lead a good life fall under this portfolio.

There has never been a more exciting time to work in this area of social care as they continue to transform and develop their health and social care system for the benefit of local people. You will work closely with senior officers both internally and externallyto help shape the Future Options Service and wider community support, tangibly benefitting the lives of local people.

All of our services are closely linked and integrated with our NHS Partners and joint working in this this role is integral. Working closely with a range of partners you will need to have well developed relationship skills and experience of leading integratedservices.
