SF Recruitment are working with a business based in Bromsgrove who are looking for a Business Support Administrator
£25,000 + Private Healthcare after probation
Work from home on Fridays
Purpose of the job
To be the business support co-ordinator between all departments including sales, project management, transportation and finance to ensure the smooth administration of order management, procurement and deliveries. Preparing purchase requisitions, keeping trackof purchases, supplies and shipments and ensuring all goods and services are confirmed in business systems once received.
Key result areas & Key deliverables
1. Accountabilities
- Raising all purchase requisitions in SAP and approval through VIM (Vendor Integration Management)
- Communicate with all departments on status of PO's, including Project Management and Sales.
- Expedite purchases through the purchasing process
- Management of new vendor set up and liaise with Finance and Vendor care.
- Collating proof of deliveries (PODs) from suppliers.
- Ensure all goods/services are confirmed as received to enable invoice payments
- Communication of orders to vendors
- Respond to supplier inquiries about clarifying orders, changes in requests, delivery requirements and cancellations
- Resolve problems with suppliers to speed up deliveries and to minimize the risk of supply shortages.
- Issue delivery notes to customers
- Support with updating the shipment tracker
- File customs documentation to ensure audit compliance
- Solve invoice issues in SAP (missed quantities, price differences etc)
- Make and follow up on complaints to recover costs not attributable to the business
- Collate compliance evidence that we have received all H&S, RAMS for third party assembly teams
- Continue to review and improve processes for business improvement
- Provide sickness and holiday cover for Order Processing and Transport Co-ordination activities for the UK business.
