We are looking for a suitably experienced Assistant Psychologist with relevant experience for the Oaks Programme (ICCR).

The OAKS Programme is a busy service providing a comprehensive range of psychological and occupational therapy groups and workshops. The service works closely with other secondary services in Solihull such as Community Mental Health Teams, Home Treatment Team based at Lyndon Clinic/Maple Leaf Centres. The OAKS Programme offers a range of interventions: DBT skills groups, CBT groups, compassion focussed therapy groups and occupational therapy focussed group. The role also involves liaising and developing closer links with third sector organisations to help facilitate recovery.

We are looking for an assistant psychologist who will support and enhance the professional psychological care of service users by assisting qualified psychologists and other therapists, in the delivery and evaluation of clinical services: group programmes and workshops in the OAKS programme. This will include: psychological assessment, group based psychological interventions, under clinical supervision and management of referrals and database. The team consists of clinical psychologists, occupational therapists and specialist nurse therapists. You should have some experience of working with people with complex mental health and behavioural needs. You should be familiar with the needs of a diverse BAME community and working in area of high socioeconomic deprivation. You will also support the clinicians in clinical administrative activities, collecting, collating and analysing outcome data, writing and presenting reports, research activities, and assisting in service development of the OAKS under the guidance of the psychologist.
