**Job description**

We are now looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join us in Wheathampstead to support the Finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone studying towards their AAT qualification or looking to start a great career in Finance.

The overall responsibility of this role is to support the Finance Manager in all areas such as
- Processing invoices and assisting with the purchase ledger and sales ledger using Sage 200
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit control
- Data entry and reporting
- VAT records
- Setting up new customer accounts
- General finance administration

**The Ideal Finance Assistant will have / be**
- Experienced in a finance / accounts administration role
- Ideally studying towards a finance qualification like AAT or ACCA
- Educated with a high grade GCSE or A level in Maths

- Finance Manager

**Location**:

**Salary**:

- £23,000-£25,000 (FTE) depending on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
