**About the Role**
We're looking for someone exceptional who wants to make a difference and likes a challenge. If that's you, a fabulous opportunity has arisen to join our Landlord Services team as Estate Services Lead.

Leading a large team of over 35 people, as well as over £2m of contracts, you'll be responsible for championing and developing our estate services, ensuring that our housing estates remain safe, clean, and secure

We are looking for someone who can inspire and lead a new team, embed new ways of working, and achieve value for money outcomes. You will also work in partnership with our contractors to improve and develop standards and performance.

This is a highly rewarding role as you will play a leading role in improving the caretaking, cleaning and grounds maintenance services that residents see on a daily basis in their communities.

We are a hybrid working organisation and for this role, you will need to work at our offices in Kingston or go out on site for a minimum of 2 days a week.

**Landlord Services manages over 4,000 council homes across the borough. As part of a multi-disciplinary leadership team you'll play a leading role in our ambition to rebalance the relationship between the council and our tenants and leaseholders, ensuring that residents have a stronger voice in the quality and costs of services, addressing their key priorities and areas of concern, and meeting the requirements of the Charter for Social Housing and Regulatory Standards

You will also get the chance to be part of the multi-disciplinary team working to ensure we support our residents every step of the way during the high-profile large-scale regeneration of the Cambridge Road Estate, which will improve the area for residents and deliver over 2000 new homes in the Borough.

**About You
**You'll be an experienced leader, with a background in Estate Services, and knowledge of service charges and contract management, used to managing dispersed teams of front line workers.

You'll be able to overcome problems effectively and decisively and have great analytical skills to interpret key performance data and customer feedback.

The role will work with a range of residents and colleagues, so a positive approach to collaborative team working is essential.

You'll also need to think creatively, be happy to try new ways of working and be prepared to challenge. Additionally, you will have sound technical and contractual knowledge.
