Communications Officer

**Salary**: £26,113 - £29,015 per annum (pro rata part time)
**Hours**:Full time (35 hours per week) or part time (flexible)
**Location**: Hybrid - either 4 days home-based and 1 day in our Hampton Wick office OR 4 days home-based and 1 day in our Dorchester office

Unique to Hastoe, we have developed our very own New Build Standard to help us on this trajectory.
**The role**:
Working closely with the Communications Manager, you’ll be planning and delivering Hastoe’s day-to-day internal and external communications activities and campaigns, by:
- Producing a range of high-quality communications materials, including content writing for our internal and external channels, and proof reading publications
- Supporting the team’s PR activity by writing press releases and responding to media enquiries
- Ensuring Hastoe’s digital channels, such as its intranet, website and social media channels, are engaging and up to date
- Supporting the organisation and delivery of key events
- Acting as the first point of contact for communications requests and enquires
**We’re looking for**:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to adapt these to different audiences
- The ability to adapt, organise and prioritise workload while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- A can do attitude and an efficient approach to working
- The ability to deliver a high quality service to both internal and external customers
- Experience of digital media, including a knowledge and passion for social channels such as Twitter and LinkedIn
- Experience of creating content for digital channels, including short videos
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, as well as previous experience using a CMS and design packages such as Adobe would be advantageous but not essential.
