Based in Outpatient clinics, you will provide support to patients and visitors attending appointments in one of our hospital sites.
- Providing a friendly welcome to patients and visitors to the clinic.
- Updating patients with waiting times.
- Signposting to other support and services, as required.
- Restocking of resources i.e. cups / leaflets / activity packs and preparing information packs, where applicable.
- Keeping patients company if they are on their own and engage in conversation and utilise resources where available.
- Providing 1:1 listening support and guidance to patients, reflecting on your own experience where appropriate.
- Providing a hot drinks and light refreshments (where agreed with Trust Division).
