**The Opportunity**

As the Customer Operations supervisor you will support and assist management to oversee a highly motivated workforce who are accountable for the safe and efficient repair and emergency activities within the Slough area.

You will hold Significant Stand-up experience in management role alongside a broad knowledge of Cadent’s core policies and procedures.

**Key accountabilities will also include**:

- Deliver an industry leading customer experience to Cadent’s customers and lead on customer initiatives in the depot to improve customer outcomes
- Carry out workplace inspections to demonstrate compliance with the required standards/company procedures
- Ensure individuals comply with policy and work procedures and achieve company standards of service throughout all activities
- Authorise and prepare permitry requirements in accordance with Safe control of Operations procedures
- Holds both SCO Authorising Engineer and Competent Person status as required
- Manage sickness/absenteeism and low-level disciplinary procedures for direct reports, to ensure compliance with company policy
- Act as the public face of Cadent when responding to complaints and enquiries where required
- Be responsible for ensuring data recording and accuracy within the relevant network is appropriate and complete to support accurate management and regulatory reporting
- Monitor workforce operational performance to ensure all objectives are met and that problems are anticipated and resolved. Implement Performance Improvement Plans where required
- Be Accountable for onsite incident supervision and investigation in adherence with EM72 and EM77 procedures in response to reports requiring escalation. i.e. Fire, Explosion, Suspected CO poisoning, Evacuation
- Share, promote and facilitate/implement technical and procedural best practice
- Ensure Customer Operations works are in full compliance with NRSWA.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Evidence of stand-up experience in management role
- Good understanding of relevant codes of practice, engineering instructions safety and statutory regulation
- Strong understanding of HSE regulations relevant to role
- Strong understanding of OSGEM 2
- Good understanding of emergency work dispatch system
- Strong understanding of NRSWA
- Good understanding of Cadent’s planning and resource management
- Good communication Skills, verbal and written alongside excellent coaching and influencing skills
- Experience of Contract Management
- Experience of Project Management
- Regulatory and Financial awareness

**You will hold**:

- HNC / NVQ or equivalent in an engineering discipline
- Gas safe competence and/or knowledge
- SCO 1,2,4 &5 AE/CP
- NRSWA Supervisor certification
- Safety qualification (such as NEBOSH, IOSH Certificate).
