Job Description

Enterprise Cloud Network Infrastructure Engineer

Our client is a leading cross-border payments provider going through an extensive digital transformation and are looking for an experienced Cloud Network Infrastructure engineer to join their team. Reporting to the Head of production Services and Infrastructure, you will be responsible for the leadership, development and maintenance of the enterprise network infrastructure as well as end to end management of the operational activities of the bank’s information technology network infrastructure.

About you?

This ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge around networks, having used AWS, GCP or Azure in the past. Experience in network design as well as managing network devices and applications is preferable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of Production Services and Infrastructure in communicating the department’s strategic direction and objectives to all by establish and manage service levels with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide input and actively participate in the planning, design and implementation of CABAIM Enterprise Network Infrastructure e.g. LAN, WAN, Servers, data centers, Cloud Tenants, Telephony e.t.c.
  • Ensure the installation and upgrade of all Enterprise Network Infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Servers, data centres, Cloud Tenants, Telephony infrastructure), and ensure accuracy of implementation with respect to design.
  • Manages standards for Requirements, Analysis, Design, Implementation on all on-going projects.
  • Develop, plan, and execute strategic initiatives across which provide enhancements and improvements to the technology used by the business to deliver more efficient and effective network utilization of enterprise network resources.

Salary: £90k - £100k + Benefits
