**About the Business**:
Fantastic opportunity to join our client as their new Service Desk Team Leader/Helpdesk Team Lead. This varied role presents a unique chance to refine your leadership skills while remaining hands-on with technical challenges. You'll collaborate closely with the wider IT team and contribute to maintaining a high standard of service across our organisation.
**Key Responsibilities of the Service Desk Team Leader**:
- Lead a team of experienced IT Engineers, overseeing their workloads, performance, and development.
**Key Requirements of the Service Desk Team Leader**:
- Strong IT proficiency, encompassing end-user support for various technologies.
- Previous experience in team supervision/management and direct end-user support.
- Familiarity with Service Desk software and comprehensive knowledge of ITIL service management principles.
- Sound grasp of Microsoft desktop and server technologies.
- Previous experience and knowledge in second (2nd) line problem management and root cause analysis.
