Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Clerical Assistant in our client's shipping department. As a Clerical Assistant, you will provide administrative support and assist with various clerical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform data entry tasks using client's computer systems
- Assist with maintaining and organising office files and documents
- Support the administrative team with general office duties as needed

Qualifications:

- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word etc.) and ability to learn new software quickly
- Strong clerical skills, including typing, filing, and data entry
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred but not required

Please note that all positions at our company are paid, including internship positions.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £14.75 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
