Thank you for taking an interest in joining our Company. Due to increased business level’s, we are looking for General Assistants to join our expanding Paint Shop Facility on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

**Where will you be working?**

Arlington Fleet Services is based at Eastleigh Works in Hampshire on a 46-acre site which includes 14 acres of workshops. We were formed in 2004 by a group of experienced railway engineering professionals and our business is constantly expanding. The Company supplies many rail maintenance and refurbishment services including;
- Routine maintenance of a variety of locomotives, coaching and other stock Mobile services which are the most extensive in the UK including re-railing and heavy lifting and wheelset changes on site.
- Bogie overhaul.
- Heavy repair including collision repairs, re-wiring, interior refurbishment and overhaul
- Paint shop.
- Rolling stock storage.
- Workshop facilities to other customers.
- Train stabling and additional related storage.

- To Ensure the work areas are kept in a clean and tidy condition during and at the end of the working day.
- To replenish/refill supplies when necessary.
- Compliance with company policies and Health & Safety standards.
- To wear the correct safety equipment at all times.
- To work in a structured and efficient way throughout the day.
- May be some heavy lifting, putting away paint consumable orders
- To assist in preparation of vehicles
- To assist in masking up of vehicles.
- To carry out any reasonable requests made by management.
- Undertake any other similar responsibilities as requested from time to time
- Good Attention to detail.
- Excellent time keeping & attendance.
- Ability to work alone or as a team.
