**Contracts Coordinator - Soft Landscaping**
**Salary £35,000 to £40,000**

This is a genuinely exciting role that occupies a key position within the company. The company are a General Landscaper who also have a Garden Centre and Nursery and specialise in Commercial Landscaping, New Build Housing, Private Gardens and Grounds Maintenance. Your duties are enormously varied and touch on all areas of operations.
The Contracts Coordinator is a pivotal element of the Landscaping team and will report to the Operations Manager. You will be a motivated and highly organised individual ideally with soft landscaping expertise and some knowledge of construction.
**Responsibilities**:
- The scheduling of works and programming labour requirements
- Purchasing materials and equipment based on project requirements and coordinating deliveries
- Acting as a point of contact with the Client and Main Contractor and facilitate the client journey
- Occasionally attend office and site meetings to provide project details and assist the communication with clients, architects, and sub-contractors
- Checking drawings and take-offs, scheduling deliveries in conjunction with suppliers and site personnel.
- Downloading and managing project and tender files/drawings from the client or architect
- Assisting with the completion and submission of pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ’s).
- Providing information to client for regulatory compliance and section 106 purposes.
- Monitor, control and report the ongoing progress and costs of the project
- Issue variations to the project where necessary, ensure these are tracked and invoiced
- Ensure compliance with site-specific company policies and procedures
- Checking attendance on site and report absences to management and HR
- Assisting the Operations Manager and Site Staff to ensure smooth operations and processes
**The Person**:
You will have a number of years’ experience working in Construction and preferably Landscaping. Your construction background will enable you to accurately use design and construction drawings. Ideally you will have some knowledge of landscaping materials, processes, and project management principles. You will have excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills together with a detail-oriented mindset.
- CSCS Card (ideally)
- Understand site Health and Safety compliance
- Full UK driving licence
