**Community Support Worker**:
**_Monday - Friday £11.20ph / Saturday & Sunday £12.30ph._**

**Profile**
**Responsibilities**
The role can include supporting people with personal hygiene, domestic chores, shopping, medication, companionship and other daily activities. You can make a real difference to people’s lives whilst working shifts.
Shift times are flexible, morning calls start from 7am, lunch calls from 11.30am, tea calls from 3pm and bed calls from 7pm. Each shift is different and you can have flexible shifts to suit your home and personal life depending on what availability you provide to our coordinators. _A full UK driving license is essential_. The appointed Home carers will be responsible for the following duties:
- Domiciliary care support to clients in their own homes.
- Personal care when required.
- Assisting with general household duties including assisting with meals, selecting clothes and dressing, prompting with medication (training provided for this also) moving service users using the appropriate equipment and light domestic chores.
- General companionship and compassion for the individual that is receiving the care.
Experience is preferred however not essential as **full training provided by RSD Social Care**.

The areas we currently cover include Sketty, Uplands, Gorseinon, Mumbles, Dunvant and Killay.

All required PPE will be provided by the company including supplies of lateral flow tests.
Part-time or full time hours: Hours and shifts can be arranged with our co-ordinators and you can decide which days you'd like to work and decide between mornings/afternoons/evenings/bed calls. We have part time and full time shift runs available; starting from 8 hours per week and then full time can be up to 40+ hours. We are flexible in that if you wanted to just cover mornings and teas, or just evenings, just mornings and lunches, we let staff input their availability and we will place calls according to this availability. We ask for your availability in each week and then we will update your rota which can be sent to you as often as needed.
Rotas can be given in advance and you can choose which area(s) you'd like to work in.
You can upload your availability onto our Care Planner App each week/month and our coordinators will place calls on you as per this availability.
We also have a referral scheme where if you refer another home care assistant, we will put £250 into your pay.
