**About the role**

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity?

As a Residential Support Worker within the Adult Learning Disability Services you will support service users with a variety of needs in a range of settings, enabling them to live as independently and fulfilling a life as possible.

We have a variety of full-time and part-time positions available within our services, from supported living and respite services to our community homes.

If you are passionate about adults with learning disabilities living a fulfilling life, and have a supportive, patient and enthusiastic attitude, this role could be the perfect role for you.

***A competitive salary that increases each 12 months until you reach the salary maximum.

***Subject to meeting eligibility criteria, the IOM Public Service offers two pension arrangements; the Isle of Man Government Unified Scheme 2011 or the Isle of Man Government Defined Contribution (DC) Arrangement.

***20 days annual leave which will increase after a number of years service and all Manx and UK bank holidays.

***You will be fully supported to obtain the QCF Level III in Health and Social Care, if not already attained.

***Access to the Isle of Man Public Service Cycle to Work scheme after your first year of employment.

Ability to take an unpaid career break after 3 years service.

***Access to the Learning, Education and Development training facility, which is exclusively for Public Service employees, to keep on top of your continuous professional development.
