**About the role**

Are you passionate about supporting adults and older people to continue to live independently in their own homes? Join our team as a Community Support Worker to help us achieve the delivery of a flexible, high quality service.

The Community Support Service delivers valuable care and support to people, enabling them to maintain their independence in their own home. You’ll contribute to this commitment by supporting service users with a variety of complex needs such as Stroke, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia and Mental Health diagnoses, enabling them to live independently for longer.

Some of your day-to-day duties will include ensuring that the well-being and personal care needs of individuals are met, including personal hygiene, food preparation and medication, as well as assisting with other tasks of daily living, which may include shopping and paying bills.

***A competitive salary that increases each 12 months until you reach the salary maximum.

***Annual leave starting from 21 days and all Manx and U.K. bank holidays; your annual leave will increase after your first year and again after your third year.

Subject to meeting eligibility criteria, the IOM Public Service offers two pension arrangements the Isle of Man Government Unified Scheme 2011 or the Isle of Man Government Defined Contribution (DC) Arrangement.
