We are looking for an inspirational and dynamic midwife who can join our team to provide expert clinical and professional leadership to team leaders and all maternity staff across the public health service. The post holder will ensure that maternity care is delivered to a high standard and that all resources are managed effectively.

Midwives are key public health information givers, who protect and enhance the health and social being of women to make healthy lifestyle choices, this in turn promotes the health and well-being of society by reducing health inequalities, stillbirth, preterm birth and low birthweight babies.

The post holder will work in partnership with the Deputy Head of Midwifery and the Leadership team to provide professional and operational leadership and management of services, delivering a safe quality service while meeting financial targets.

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country. It provides a wide range of general and specialist clinical services and is a base for medical education, training and research.

The Trust comprises of four hospitals - the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.
