We are currently seeking a Commercial Quality Officer for a 6-month PAYE contract, with an immediate start. The role entails supporting the Responsible Person (RP) in maintaining excellence in Quality and Compliance for all health products and processes within the supply/distribution chain of our clients UK and Ireland (UKIE) business. We are currently seeking a Commercial Quality Officer for a 6-month PAYE contract, with an immediate start. The role entails supporting the Responsible Person (RP) in maintaining excellence in Quality and Compliance for all health products and processes within the supply/distribution chain of our clients UK and Ireland (UKIE) business.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
Maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) meeting Health Authority standards in the UK and EU

Address any business risks promptly.

Escalate compliance risks to the RP and assist in mitigation.

**Responsibilities**:
Assist the UK/Ireland Quality Team in ensuring compliance with regulatory and Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (WDA) requirements.

Support RP activities aligned with GDP regulations, including managing authorised activities, maintaining record accuracy, implementing training programs, coordinating recall operations, and handling customer complaints.

Ensure approval of suppliers and customers.

**Key Challenges**:
Upholding product quality and compliance standards amid commercial pressures, escalating issues to the RP when necessary.

Supporting continuous improvement efforts to ensure the QMS remains relevant and compliant with changing regulations and company policies.

Managing product changes effectively through established change management and quality risk assessment systems.

Providing GDP training to cross-functional teams.

**Experience**:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality compliance within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

Proficiency in developing and maintaining robust QMS in healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors.

Clear understanding and ability to address product safety, quality, efficacy, and compliance risks.

Thorough knowledge of GDP requirements relevant to regulated products, including EU and UK GDP.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience in audit hosting and relevant auditing qualifications preferred.
