Working within our People (HR) team, you’ll quickly gain an understanding of our people. From developing and delivering commercially focused advice across a wide range of people issues to supporting business change and HR cycle plan activities; you’ll support, coach and develop our colleagues at all levels of the organisation. Consistent and coherent in everything you do, you’ll work closely with your business stakeholders to support the delivery of our people plans in a positive and timely manner. You’ll get involved in key HR and business projects to make the most of your exceptional knowledge of HR practice and techniques.

**About you**:
Confident, credible and preferably CIPD qualified, you can call on previous HR experience and a proven track record of HR delivery, including managing organisational change and HR cycle plan activities. With previous ER experience, you’ll also know your way around employment legislation and law. But it’s not just knowledge that’s important - it’s how you use it, how you share it. You’re confident challenging colleagues when needed - showing them a better way to achieve their goals. As well as your HR experience, you’ll have strong business acumen and a commercial understanding - so you’ll be able to balance the needs of the organisation with the needs of individuals. You will be delivery focused and thrive in an environment of managing multiple projects.

You’ll partner commercially driven decisions with being delivery focussed, whilst managing your stakeholders effectively.

**Details**:

- Works with other People Team colleagues to deliver cyclical People activities such as talent reviews, DEI and Wellbeing strategy, performance management and ASBR process, succession planning, colleague engagement surveys and action plans
- Builds relationships across the People team and the business through building trust and confidence with stakeholders through excellent delivery; right first time and on time. Works in partnership across the People team to translate business needs into effective People solutions
- Assisting in the delivery of change programmes, challenging as appropriate to manage risks
- Ensures high standard of delivery of People interventions and products to the business
- Has a continuous improvement mindset to support a high performing culture
- Manage and resolve People queries from line managers, escalating where appropriate, on a variety of topics e.g. practice early dispute resolution for colleagues and guide and support line managers on ER matters
- Work with third party providers including GIP providers, Occupational Health and other health and wellbeing providers
- Support and coach Mental Health First Aiders
- Coach line managers in a wide range of HR practices in order to increase leadership capability and organisational performance
- Mitigate People risks in line with our risk governance framework, including and ensuring that we work with compliance on conduct breaches and recording them accurately from a SMCR perspective and a Reward perspective
- Deliver an efficient and effective service through the use of appropriate technology and insights
- Acts as an ambassador for the People Team as one of the key interfaces with the business. Role model LV= values and behaviours by actively understanding the rationale for change and positively project discussion and debate towards delivery of the business agenda
